How to prepare for your visit? Teaching material booklets are available that have been especially drawn up for primary and secondary school groups. These materials provide work that can be done in the classroom before or after the visit to the Museum or even during it.

Rules and regulations for the Museum's school activities.

  • The maximum number of pupils for each activity is as shown on the website. In general, the guided tours and workshops are designed for a maximum of 30 pupils, whereas staged activities (theatre plays, storytellers, etc.) can accommodate up to 90.
  • Schools reserving these activities must confirm attendance one month in advance by sending an email to the following address. If the school does not turn up on the day of the reserved activity, except where this is in cases of force majeure, it may be banned from other activities.
  • On the day of the arranged tour or activity, the person in charge of the group must show a copy of the email confirming its reservation with the museum.
  • For the group's own benefit, we recommend that you arrive punctuality, given that the Library cannot guarantee that its attendants and staff will be available to lay on these activities at times other than those scheduled for the visit.
  • The accompanying teaching staff must be present at all times during the activity, and shall be responsible for the group's discipline and good behaviour, ensuring that pupils use the facilities correctly.
  • All the activities are free of charge.
