Legislation about intellectual property (revised text of the Spanish Intellectual Property Act, approved by Royal Legislative Decree 1/1996, of 12 April, modified by Act 23/2006 of 7 July – Texto refundido de la Ley de Propiedad Intelectual, aprobado por el Real Decreto Legislativo 1/1996, de 12 de abril, modificado por Ley 23/2006 de 7 de julio) establish that reproduction of works that do not belong to the public domain is only permitted for private use.
On applying for reproductions for public use (publication, public communication, publicity, etc.), you must read regulations for public use and ask for specific permission.
