Visit the Library. Discover the BNE
The guided tour runs along the outdoor staircase, the zaguán, the main staircase, the Board Room and the Italian Lounge. The visit does not include the María Moliner Reading Room.
It has an approximate duration of 60 minutes and the access is done by the plant 0. It may be canceled, or its route modified, in case of extraordinary activity of the institution.
School visits to this tour of the building are currently not available. On the school visits page you can discover all the educational activities carried out by the Library.
- Visits for groups of university students, groups of institutional nature and groups of professionals of librarianship, archival and documentation. Requests: visitas@bne.es
These visits are more specific and are organized according to the interests of these groups. They are made at the headquarters of Recoletos and are subject to the availability of the Library.

Timetable: Monday, Wednesday and Friday at 12 p.m. and at 5 p.m. Registration
This visit is free of charge. Applications made by natural or legal persons who receive remuneration of any kind for it are not allowed.
*On the 20th of each month, at 9:30 a.m., the calendar of individual registrations for the following month opens.
*For September registrations, the calendar will open the 20th of August at 2:30 p.m.
