Incunabula with engravings

Printing technique employed embossed on wood (wood engraving) for inserting images, necessary for the understanding of the text and to embellish the book.

In spain, the first illustrated edition is preservedFasciculus temporum(Seville, 1480), with 14 illustrations interspersed in the text. Could afirmarme that 37 per cent of the spanish editions have some recorded: snapping (stamp), technical papers (Chess art,Cosmographia), of history (Fasciculus temporum), and even literary (Twelve labours of hercules).
