1. Invitations, programmes and then dance

The invitations and programmes exercised their convening power of bourgeois society of the nineteenth century, as fans of the social events and fun: dances, carnival costumes and fair organized by recreational societies. The spanish society of the late nineteenth and early twentieth centuries ritual practiced both religious and social council to report the birth of a child and the observance of its baptism or communion, as well as the death of a family member.
